So - I graduated nursing school. I passed my boards on the first try, with the minimum # of questions. Now my great reward - NO JOBS. WTF? FML! Nice economy. Bush II f'ed it up and Obama can't fix it. This S#!T sucks.

Mikaela is happy and back at school. Marissa is at Grandmoms. Ashley is back to work-hope all is well over there. I am gonna go home and do what I have wanted to do since the 15th of december- sleep! Turn up my heated fitted sheet to 10 and hibernate until 2:15pm. Then I gotta go to stupid work.

..this job. I am a med-surg telemetry tech. I read EKG 12hrs at a time. The heart is really interesting-the physiology, the medications, the dynamics- all great. But sitting in this room looking at 3 computer screens for 12 hours straight - SUCKS. I've learned about all I can about cardiac dysrhythmias. The meds are always changing and I am always learning something but when I don't take care for a patient directly the learning doesn't really stick. I'm bored.

I didn't get the grade for the final, I only have my class grade and THAT tells me I get to go on to the next semester-BOOYAH! (I don't really say things like that but what am I gonna type? YAY? I don't think so.)

Tomorror at 8am is the final. I'm pretty much prepared and I'll go to be early tonite. I'll be really glad when this is all over. Nursing has been nothing but a test of endurance.
